Get up to $10,000 for your short film with a one sentence pitch. The FilmFore Fund awards up to $10,000 to the most compelling short film concept. Entry is open to all filmmakers, anywhere.
Describe the short film you want to make in one sentence, 200 characters maximum. Then tell us your name, country, and pay the US$25 entry fee.
All entries are scored on Premise Strength, Producibility, and Originality by the FilmFore curation panel. Cycles require at least 40 paid entries.
The highest-scoring pitch wins. The prize pool is announced publicly. Winners are contacted directly and paid within 14 business days.
One sentence. 200 characters. It should make us feel something, want to watch, and believe you can make it. The best pitches are specific, not vague. They name a character, a world, a tension, or a consequence.
Entries are processed when a cycle opens.
Shortlisted filmmakers are invited to apply for the Encounters Fund — an annual commission award of up to AU$25,000, invite-only.
