The master agreement between FilmFore and every user

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FilmFore platform at filmfore.com and all associated services, including the Encounters YouTube channel and any future streaming distribution ("the Platform"), operated by FilmFore Pty Ltd (ABN 49 621 439 281) ("FilmFore", "we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
You may use FilmFore if you:
Accounts for users under 18 may be created by a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on the minor's behalf and accepts responsibility for their use of the Platform.
To access most features of FilmFore, you must create an account. You agree to:
FilmFore reserves the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at our discretion. Reviewer and Admin accounts are created by FilmFore only and cannot be self-registered.
FilmFore operates a role-based access system. Your access and permissions depend on your assigned role:

You must not use FilmFore to:
You are solely responsible for all content you submit to FilmFore. By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:
By submitting content to FilmFore, you grant FilmFore a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your content solely for the purposes of operating the Platform. This licence does not extend to commercial exploitation of your content beyond what is described in the Submission Terms.
FilmFore is under no obligation to shortlist, publish, or distribute any submitted content. Submission does not guarantee publication, shortlisting, or any other outcome.
Submission fees are set out on the Platform at the time of submission. Fees are charged in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated. All payments are processed by Stripe. By submitting payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
Our refund policy is set out in the Submission Terms. FilmFore does not offer refunds except as required by Australian Consumer Law or as expressly stated in our Refund Policy.
You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your use of the Platform in your jurisdiction.
All content on the Platform created by FilmFore — including the brand, logo, design system, evaluation methodology, scoring framework, and all platform content — is owned by FilmFore or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You must not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from FilmFore's intellectual property without our prior written consent.
FilmFore does not claim ownership of the content you submit. Your intellectual property remains yours. The licence you grant FilmFore is described in Section 6.2 and the Submission Terms.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FILMFORE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
FilmFore does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; that any defects will be corrected; or that the results of using the Platform will meet your expectations.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FILMFORE AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
FilmFore's total aggregate liability to you for any claim will not exceed the total amount paid by you to FilmFore in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
You may close your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid.
FilmFore may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, we suspect fraudulent or illegal activity, we are required to do so by law, or we cease operating the Platform.
If you have a dispute with FilmFore, we ask that you first contact us at [email protected] to attempt to resolve it informally. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may refer the dispute to mediation before commencing legal proceedings.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
FilmFore may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email and by posting a notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
